Youth Community Gardening comprises Project G.R.A.P.E., a youth development program. The acronym G.R.A.P.E. in Project G.R.A.P.E. stands for "Growing Readily Available Produce Everywhere." The purpose of the program is to teach young people in local communities how to grow produce in their community, how to live a well sustained life (educationally, physically and emotionally), the importance of volunteerism and the development of leadership skills. All garden education workshops and teaching sessions are lead by Mr. Eric Williams, Education Specialist II.
